Machete
Eddy
You can catch one of the illest, metaphor-flippin', punchline-bruisin', power verb-tossin' sessions when Machete Eddy is in the building. Cut from a cloth of rhythmic prowess and inventive lyrical composition, Machete has established himself as a poetic force in Baltimore and has definitely recovered ground for the revered, but lost "intelligent rapper". Machete is also the force behind "LunchBarz", a platform on social media where people can hear exclusive freestyles and have an opportunity to win free lunch. Currently working on two projects including his self-titled debut album, there is no doubt this B-More native son will be recognized as one of Hip-Hop's most formidable.

- Machete Eddy: Second Light
Machete Eddy emerged for a short run in 2009 with the Baltimore-based collective, Producers Den, including members; Kode Street ,and Band; The Bangladesh Project. Being a Hip Hop producer himself, Eddy (back then better known as Stryfe Stryker) not only provided impressive lyrical content, but also produced a good portion of the 2009 compilation album:
"We're Gonna Eat Regardless". The lead single was "Corners", in which Machete (then Stryker) gave a seamlessly- flowing summary of inner-city life.

Machete Eddy briefly re-emerged again in 2016 to aid in the production of Kode Street's debut album: "Motown Daily". Producing the title track among others, his production style is groovy and sometimes hypnotic, adding to the attraction of his art. Eddy still brought lyrics to the table for this project as well with a few features including "Analyze This", the rapper manages to simultaneously be boastful yet introspective in a mere 16 bars of graceful lyricism.
